第３話 「更なるワナ 策謀のアクア？」

謎の通信を残し消息を絶ったアクアミラージュ。
そしてその行方を追っていて連絡の途絶えたエアロミラージュ。
２人もの戦士との連絡が取れなくなるという異常事態に他のミラージュ達に動揺が走った。
今までにもいくつものピンチを迎えた事はあったが消息が全く不明になってしまう事などは皆無に等しかった。
それは彼女たちの身に万が一の事態が生じた場合でも身にまとっているミラージュスーツが自動的に居場所を全員に知らせる機能あり、
そうなる前にもスーツの機能の一つであるマジックシールドのおかげでトリエの攻撃にはそう易々とはやられない様になっていたからだった。
だが今回の異常事態に非常装置が作動した形跡がないのである。もちろんそれがトリエの新兵器に因るものだとは気づくはずもなかった。
だが通信記録などを元にしたサポートスタッフの必死の解析作業の結果、
アクアが最後に通信を発した地点とエアロが行方をくらませた地点がほぼ同じエリアである事が突き止められた。
「エリアガンマ、ポイントＤ－５」そう、あの廃墟の街である。
その夜、廃墟の街に向かう２つの影があった。
１人は火や熱を武器に戦う炎の戦士、フレアミラージュ。
そしてもう１人は電気や雷を操り、格闘に秀でた大地の戦士、ランドミラージュであった。
フレアは真紅のコスチューム、ランドはレモン色のコスチュームに身を包み、潜入活動専用のハンググライダーで音もなく空を舞っていた。

その影の者が月明かりの射す場所に歩み寄ってきた。その光に映し出された者を見てランドは驚いた。

ランドの前に立つ者は、他でもない捜していたアクアミラージュその人だった。

相手がアクアと知り安堵の表情を浮かべながら、反面その行動を嗜めた。
