照りつける太陽がやがて廃墟となった街の中空に差し掛かろうとしていた。
街外れにあるの小高い丘に立つ４つの十字架、いや十字架を模した生体兵器「ボンデクロス」に４つの人影が繋がれていた。
「セントミラージュ」と呼ばれた少女たちが……。






トリエの司令官“ジェネラル・ギン”の巡らせた策謀に掛かり、１人また１人と囚われの身となり、
遂には全員が囚われて十字架に掛けられ、処刑の時間を待つ事になっていた。
十字架上の彼女たちは四肢を触手の様なモノで拘束され、その口にはテープ状のモノを貼り付けられて塞がれてしまっていた。
その為に動く事はおろか側にいる仲間にさえ言葉を掛けられない状態にされていた。
その身の自由を完全に奪われた彼女たちはグッタリとうなだれ、処刑執行の時間をただ待つだけの状態になっていた。
グッタリとして動かないと思いきや時折低い呻き声と共に身体を仰け反らせる彼女たち。
彼女たちを捕らえているボンデクロスからは絶えず「エネルギー中和パルス」が放出されていてその超人的パワーを発揮させない様にされていた。
更に時折拷問の為の電撃が加えられ彼女たちを責め苛んでいたからである。
日の出から時間も経ち徐々にその高度を上げるに連れその光の強さも上がっていく太陽。

だがそれでも乗り越えて来られたのはまだ希望を託せる仲間がいたからだ。だが今回
ばかりはメンバー全てが囚われたとあって救出の手を望むのは不可能に近かった。彼女たちをサポートする味方の組織はある。
だが戦闘要員となると戦力的に彼女たちと同等の者の存在は皆無に等しかった。
また自衛軍や国防軍の援助も今からでは間に合わないだろう。
それにもしもそれらが来てくれたとして、敵基地と化しているこの街で戦っても目の前で全滅させられるのは火を見るよりも明らかだった。

どのくらいの時間が経ったのか、十字架に囚われた彼女たちの中から嗚咽の様な呻き声が漏れ出てきた。
それは最初に囚われたアクアミラージュだった。

他の者たちの能力が自らの身体を使ったりその一部から火炎や電撃を放つ事であるのに対し、
エアロの能力はその名の通り周りの空気を自在に操る事だった。
拘束されている以上、必殺の大技こそ放てないものの、
自分を拘束している触手を切り裂く事の出来る“竜巻技”は手を動かさなくても放つ事が出来るのだった。
ただその為にはキーボイスの発声が第一条件だった。
司令官が彼女たちの口をテープ状のモノで塞いだのもそういった技の発動を封じるためのものだった。
そのキーボイス発生の為にエアロは長い時間口を塞いでいるモノの除去にその全神経を集中させていた。
最初こそ不可能に思えた事だったが、拘束されて６時間という永い時間がその不可能を可能なものに近づけていた。
監視の目も位置的に届きにくい事も幸いして彼女は虎視眈々とそのチャンスを伺っていた。
