本研究では，Zn-Al-Mg系合金めっき鋼のアーク溶接時における亜鉛脆化割れについて，高温域でのZnの蒸発と溶融めっきの流れ戻り挙動に及ぼすシールドガスの影響を明らかにすることを目的とし，ArをベースとしてCO2やO2を種々に変量させたシールドガスを用いてめっき鋼を溶接した際のZnの蒸発距離（母材表面においてZnの沸点に達する位置からビード止端部までの距離）の推定および溶融めっきと基板のぬれ性の評価を行った．
