女優の前田敦子が23日、第15回東京フィルメックスでの『さよなら歌舞伎

女優の前田敦子が23日、第15回東京フィルメックスでの『さよなら歌舞伎町』プレミア上映にて舞台挨拶を行った。


本作は新宿・歌舞伎町のラブホテルを舞台にした、大人の群像劇。前田は上映前に行われた舞台挨拶に南果歩、廣木隆一監督とともに登壇した。

映画ファンの多い黒沢清監督、山下敦弘監督との仕事に続き、廣木組初参加となった前田。「廣木さんから声をかけていただいてとても嬉しかったです！お名前を聞いただけで、『お願いします！』って思いました。親身になってお話を聞いてくれますし、演技に関しては、自分で考える厳しさを教えていただいたと思います」と、廣木監督との仕事に手応えを得た様子。
「群像劇は色んな人の心の中に入っていけるので凄く好き」だといい、「実際撮影しているときも自分たち以外のエピソードがどんな風になっているのか気になって、とても刺激的でした」と撮影期間を振り返った。

今回、前田が演じるのは、主演の染谷将太演じるラブホテルの店長・徹と同棲し、有名ミュージシャンを目指す沙耶という役どころ。劇中ではギターの弾き語りをするシーンもあり、「撮影が始まる一月前に、監督から『しっかり一曲やってもらうから』と言われて、それまではギターをやったこともなかったので、みっちり練習しました」と苦労もあったようだ。練習の成果については「どうでしょうか？」と判断を観客に委ねていた。
