最近、クロノは忙しそうだ。港の様子を見に行ったり、商人達に港の使用許可を与えたり、一段落したのかな？ と思ったら、ハシェルの街に出向いたり、行商人が結成した組織の代表に港の使用許可を与えたりと精力的に働いている。
ハシェルの街は賑わっている。服や香辛料などの値段が下がり、領民の消費活動が活発になっているのだ。
港のお陰であることは間違いない。何しろ、港の使用料は行商人達が慌てて作った組織にも支払えるくらい安いのだ。
一ヶ月金貨二百枚……兵士の月給が金貨二枚であることを思えば高く感じられるが、何度入港しても使用料は変わらないので、破格の安さである。
もっとも、商人達の本音は『シナー貿易組合』のせいで値下げに踏み切らざるを得なかったかも知れないが。
ちょっとした不満があるにせよ、ハシェルの街……クロノの領地は良い方向に変わっている。
